45 Years ago (June 1980): I finished off my sophomore year at Billerica high with a disappointing run at the State Class meet. I shouldn’t have been too disappointed as I ran my third fastest time for 2 miles (and only 9 seconds slower than my PR) but I was hoping for more. I ended finishing in 11th place running a 9:56.4.
