This was my first week of "training" for the Erie Canal ride. I've got 6 weeks to be somewhat comfortable in the saddle for 4+ hours per day. The plan is to bike 3 days a week one more week then 4 days a week for 2 weeks and then with 2 weeks to go just figure out what will work. I was able to keep my mileage over 80 and threw in a tempo run and a race. No complaints other than my arthritic ankle squawking and my knee still unhappy about me doing the Wachusett race.
